A two day course comprising units 1 and 2. This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants.
It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, creche assistants, playgroup personnel and anybody else who has or may have responsibility for the welfare of young children.
The award is a nationally regulated level 3 award and meets the requirements and criteria laid down by the early years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted.
In order to obtain this qualification participants must attend both days and complete the two units of accreditation.
The qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. It is recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training.
The learner will need to complete the full course again to requalify for a further three years

Unresponsive casualty, resuscitation.
Bony injuries - fractures,
Burns and scalds,
Head injuries,
Hypo/Hyperthermia, ,
Diabetes, Asthma, Sickle Cell anaemia, Meningitis.
Shock, Anaphylaxis, Choking, Fainting.
Minor injuries, bites and stings, poisoning
Infantile convulsions.
Heart Attack and Angina
Control of Bleeding
Sprains and strains.
Foreign Bodies
Our Level 3 Paediatric First Aid courses are currently costed at £90 per person (inc VAT)
Included is a paediatric manual, a personal first aid kit for use on the course and your certificates.
