Payment in full for your trek/activity is due at the time of booking. The terms and conditions shown on this page DO NOT apply to Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expeditions, that are subject to separate contractual obligations.

Participants under 18 will not be permitted to take part in any activity unless the health/medical proforma has been completed and signed by a parent/guardian. The signatory should expect to be spoken to in person to confirm the content of the proforma and that they are fully aware of the activities planned.

If in the unlikely event that we have to cancel your trek/activity The Expedition Team will refund your payment in full.

The client must inform The Expedition Team by email (office@theexpedteam.com) if they wish to cancel their activity.

·  30 days or more notice a full refund will be given

·  21 to 29 days’ notice a 50% refund will be given

·  20 days or less notice unfortunately no refund will be given

We will try to make your day out as safe as possible but you should be fully aware that there is a potential risk of injury or even death whilst in the mountains and fully understand and accept these risks when making a booking. Whilst every activity has been thoroughly risk assessed, unpredictable elements such as weather, unstable rock and the activities of other walkers/climbers can impact upon our safety. Any proposed activities involving participants who are under 18, will be discussed in detail with participants AND a parent/guardian, well in advance of the activity.

The Expedition Team has full public liability insurance but would recommend that you take out appropriate personal accident and cancellation insurance for your trek/activity.
